"Dogs & Cats: Courage & Devotion" - 2 presentations

Dogs & Cats:  Courage & Devotion - Parts One and Two - each 60 Mins - AV Required

See posts of Sept 4th & Oct 16th
EACH is a stand-alone presentation.   They are not dependent on one another.   Part Two (and maybe Part Three!) developed because of the popularity of the topic.

Room packed each time.   Enthusiasm during and after at 5 star level.   All asked for me to come back again...soon.   At Westmount one I was lucky enough to have a dog present to welcome the guests;   she, "Daisy", was a delight - calm, happy and very sympathetic to pats, hugs and treats.    Having a dog is not essential, but makes it fun.  And of course, can only be there if the owner is available to attend..and the facility is d'accord.

Presentation format - slides with video:

* our relationship with Dogs & Cats from our first 'meeting' to the present;

* artworks from prehistory to the present illustrate each item;

* an indepth review of the origins of certain breeds (some great stories there!);

* brave and signigicant dogs and cats in life;

* and those made famous in literature.

I was particularly struck by the audience's enthusiasm for the longer, and sometimes sad, stories about individual cats, dogs or their owners in real life.

Best compliment:
"I don't why I came since I don't really like cats or dogs - but your presentation was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it."
