The Lighter Side: Christmas - 60 mins - AV recommended
An incredibly successful presentation - rhyming lines may not seem like great entertainment, but it is - and was!
The 'christmas' poems are non-denominational and do not relate to the religious aspect.
The presentation is based wholly on readings, 80% light verse. The audience, who had never seen me before, loved it - laughing at every punch line. At the end I was overwhelmed by their congratulations.
Light, humorous poetry and prose about the
funny side of everything, from people to books to Christmas presents to love to the dreams of the taxman! The rhyming lines take a wry look at situations that everyone can relate which of course contributed to everyone's enjoyment.
